About Us
Downtown Senior Living with Style
Originally constructed in 1926, Exeter House was once among Seattle's grand hotels. The building was acquired by Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest (PRCN) in 1963 and in recent years PRCN has invested in substantial renovations for Exeter House, remodeling apartment interiors and restoring the stately building to its original grandeur. Today, it retains the unique architectural beauty and charm of a boutique hotel, while offering the best of in-city retirement living.
Exeter House also offers well appointed common areas — including the elegant grand foyer, spacious dining room, library and game rooms, and garden patio — where residents enjoy spending time with their friends and families.
The Exeter House community features 78 Independent Living apartments and 26 Assisted Living apartments. Residents also have priority access to Skyline at First Hill's Medicare-certified Health Center with 32 skilled-nursing beds and the Memory Care center at The Terraces.
