Fund Descriptions You can support the work of the PRCN Foundation by giving to the fund that is most meaningful to you. Your wishes will be strictly honored. Listed below are the various funds and a description of their purpose. General: This fund supports the areas of greatest need within all PRCN communities and programs. A donor may choose to designate a particular community as the recipient. Resident Support: This fund assists residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources. Exeter House and Park Shore continually serve residents from this fund. The residents who receive assistance remain anonymous. Resident Support Endowment: Like Resident Support, this fund assists residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources. Whereas the Resident Support Fund assists residents currently in need, contributions to the Resident Support Endowment Fund create a lasting gift that benefits residents in the years to come. Employee Education Grant: This fund allows PRCN communities to support employees' pursuit of further education. Special Projects: Donations made to this fund are designated for a specific project or program at one of our communities. As an example, Park Shore and Exeter House have used this fund to build fitness centers to help ensure the health and well-being of our residents. Many extra amenities are available as a result of gifts to this fund. Community Outreach: PRCN's mission extends beyond the walls of our buildings and into the greater community. Partnering with other organizations, the Community Outreach Fund improves the lives of older adults and their families throughout the region. General Endowment: This fund generates income that supports on-going
programs and projects of the PRCN communities. Donors create a lasting
gift that benefits the long-term mission of PRCN.
