Coming in 2009: SKYLINE AT FIRST HILL

Recognizing a growing need for quality senior living options in downtown Seattle, PRCN is developing a new retirement living community, scheduled to open in early 2009.

Skyline at First Hill, located in Seattle between 8th and 9th avenues and Cherry and Columbia streets, will provide Seattle seniors the latest in retirement offerings. The new $100-million life care community will feature high-quality residential living in a location that allows residents to enjoy downtown Seattle. Residents will enjoy brand-new, state-of-the-art accommodations with independent living and guaranteed access to private assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support, if ever needed, at substantially discounted rates through life care.

Breaking the mold of current downtown retirement living options, Skyline will offer surprisingly spacious one-, two- and three-bedroom residences. In fact, Skyline’s larger units will be comparable to the square footage found in downtown condominium real estate. The impressive 26-story high-rise will also be an eye-catching addition to the city’s skyline and will feature spectacular views that include Mt. Rainier, Puget Sound, the Olympic and Cascade mountains, and will be within walking distance of local churches, restaurants, museums, sports arenas, and nearby performing arts centers.

Common areas will include a fitness center and indoor pool, 24th floor club room with an outdoor patio, auditorium, several dining venues, library and lounge areas, and a parking garage with self-parking or valet service.

While developers are in the early planning stages, construction is scheduled to begin in early 2007, with completion expected in early 2009.

Skyline will be the third community developed and operated in Seattle by PRCN, following Exeter House, also downtown, and Park Shore, in Madison Park. Since 1956, PRCN has held a strong reputation in the Pacific Northwest region for providing quality services, programs and health care options needed to continue a high quality of life.
